..going to do nothing to bail out the lenders (banks) and other financial institutions that have been hit hard by the problems in the housing market, while all the while he really knew that he would allow the Fed to bail them out, is this not an anti trust violation? If he knowingly manipulated the stock market, did he not just break the law?

George Bush breaks the law like a diner cook breaks eggs -- about 10 dozen times a day. He represents cynical, corporate incest at its worst, and for bank favors, all he has to do is ask his savings and loan swindler-brother Neil for advice.

Okay, first off, I am no fan of the current administration, but the Federal Reserve is a private corporation, not a government entity and not subject to the whims of the President.

The President has no choice but to "allow" the Fed to bail out whoever they choose, since there is no law that gives him the discretion to prevent them from doing so.

Allowing something to happen is NOT the same as causing it to happen.

So the answer is no, that is not an antitrust violation.

If you want to find some laws that President Bush has broken, you shouldn't have to look to far. You can start with the US Constitution, and I am quite certain you can find a dozen solidly illegal acts by the time you finish it.

Your questions are so twisted, it is not possible to answer them.
The Federal Reserve is a separate entity, not controlled by the US President.
