Do you have any unusual collections, i like to collect the pretty little bows you get on the front of knickers and between the cups on your bra i always cut these off before i throw anything away and stick them all around the edge of my mirror.

I enjoy coin collecting. It doesn't have to cost a lot. I can go to the bank and pick of a box of coin (whichever denomination I'm in the mood for) for exactly face value. A box of pennies is $25, a box of nickels is $100, a box of dimes is $250 and boxes of half dollars or quarters are $500.
Once I get a box, I can go through and pull out the better coins (there are books to help with this or websites). I keep all interesting coins and try to fill holes in my coin book.
The coins that I don't want/need can be returned to the bank and put straight back into my account (though it's often better to return the coins to a different bank (not just a different branch but a different bank) so that I don't end up searching the same boxes over and over). So most of my money goes back and I can then get another box.
Some things to search for: wheat pennies, silver dimes, silver quarters, old coins, error coins, etc. There's always the chance of finding a real treasure!

I collect carrier bags! Bit of a weird one i know but it is quite interesting to see how shops have changed their branding over the years. The best one i have is one from Harrods with the logo in real gold leaf.

Dont collect anything, its all trash and should be in the bin. Collect only money, yeh thats the best thing to collect. Dump all else. Not worth it.

One time I wondered why I bothered. When I die they will be gotten rid of in one way or another and then I realized -- I was collecting these things because I like them. I'm not doing it for my heirs but for ME to enjoy while I am still alive.

I guess I like to collect husbands. I have been married and had too divorce all four of them. I like to cut up their pictures and hang them all over my mirror for entertainment. lol. Serious!

I collect faerie/fairy ornaments especially Faerie Glen, cute ornaments/figurines such as Piggins, TY bears and 80's memorabilia.

I have quite a lot of fossils and minerals including lots of insects in Baltic amber from the Eocene period (40 million years ago).
