I was amazed to find a stall selling raffle tickets for a hamper containing nothing but spirits and wine at my local fair - nothing unusual in that you might say but a lot of the ticket purchasers were children of 10 years and up.
Is there a law prohibiting this?

I do not drink alcohol so therefore I did not enter the raffle.

I believe there is a Law against it and yes it is illegal for children to gamble, really surprised at stall holder unless they fell for the old 'it's my parents tickets' gag again

You need to speak to your mayor. I don't know where you live, but you mention a local fair, so I know you must be in a country environment. Your mayor should be easily accessible to you. Meet him or her in person, or file a complaint at his/her office. I am possitive there is a law in your state prohibiting the purchase, and consumption of alcohol by a minor. In New York, and Louisiana, the youngest age is 18, to do these things. Every other state is 21. Get your proof, and witnesses, and make a stink, because that is against the law.

Yes that's bad, they would be prosecuted if they were found out. I went to a country fair yesterday but it clearly stated it was for over 18's only. Did you win? I won a bottle of wine.
