I responded to an advert to buy a car. The email i received was written in french and english but both were full of mistakes. The seller told me to use this website to pay. www.auto-forwarding.com. The mobile is fake and the post code odf the company belongs to Paddington station!!

Happens all the time... well done for not being taken in ..

(but chances are they are based outside UK, so UK Government (and Police) do not have a clue how to stop them ...)

If you really want to take some action, there are some US based groups that try to track down and terminate the web sites and ISP's hosting these criminals ..
