All spinners are bowlers so what you are really asking is which bowlers , pace or spinners get most wickets.
On an individual basis spinners tend to get more wickets over their career, mainly because they exert less pressure of their body than spinners and tend to to play the game longer. Examples are Mulari
tharan and Warne the two top test wicket takers. Also in domestic cricket they take a lot of wickets along with Mustaq Ahmed etc..
But because there are more pace bowlers that spin bowlers then I think you will find that more wickets are taken by pace bowlers collectively over a season than by spin bowlers.
Currently in the domestic bowling averages of the top 15 bowlers they have taken 508 wickets between them 413 from 12 pace bowlers and only 95 from 3 spinners.
So on that basis I suppose the simple answer is pace bowlers collectively take more wickets than spinners

Do you mean whether Spinners or Fast bowlers ?
You can not say for sure. This depends on so many factors like , 1. Pitch , 2 . Quality of the bowler 3. Capacity of the batsman
4. Assistance from Fielders and Wicket Keeper,5. Weather and 6 . LUCK .
All the above things change from time to time . Nothing is constant.

Well if you take a test team, you generally have 3 fast bowlers and 1 spinner, so in that case it's going to be the fast bowlers who get more wickets.....
But....if you were to put one up against the other then i would say the spinner would get more wickets than the fast bowler.

I would say spinners, because look at Muriladitharan and Shane Warne, they are the best bowlers in the world!! But Shoib Akhtar is also the fastest bowler in the world and he as got many wickets, along with Brett Lee!!
But Spinners get more wickets definately!

A Spinner also a bowler. I think you are asking about spinner or fast bowler. Shane Warne and Murali have taken lots of wickets. Because they can play more matches than fast bowlers.

It MAY have escaped you, my friend, but, the FACT is, that "SPINNERS" ARE bowlers!
I think you may be wanting to know, about whether "QUICK" bowlers will be more "SUCCESSFUL" than "SPIN" bowlers, - am I CORRECT?
If that IS, actually, the case, then, I would say, that, this depends, a GREAT DEAL on the WEATHER CONDITIONS, at the time!
In warm, - dry, - conditions, it seems, to me, that the ball, released by a "QUICK" bowler, is more likely to take wickets, - because the ball will "SWING" or "SEAM", but, - in COOLER, or DAMP conditions, - I would put my faith in SPIN BOWLERS, - particularly, LEG-SPIN bowlers, - EVERY TIME! However, that is, in NO way, meaning to be derogatory, to ANOTHER legendary spinner, - Sri Lanka's own MUTTIAH MURALITHARAN, - who, is a BRILLIANT exponent of the art of spin bowling!
One of my FAVOURITE bowlers, though, - of a few YEARS AGO, now, - Kent and England OFF spin bowler, DEREK UNDERWOOD, - was a MASTER of using DAMP conditions, to HIS advantage! He was SUPERB! He was called "OLD DEADLY", by MANY of his opponents, around the World!
An example, of a LEG-spinner, who used the conditions, to HIS advantage, is, none other, than the GREAT AUSTALIAN leg-spinner, SHANE KEITH WARNE! In the "RIGHT" conditions, he could have made a TENNIS BALL spin.
Remember, - also, - the FACT, that, - at "OLD TRAFFORD", in 1956, - it was an England SPINNER, - the now-DECEASED, JIM LAKER, who, - after taking ALL TEN Australian wickets, - for just 53 runs, conceded, off his bowling, - in ONE innings, - then, took a NINE wicket haul, - for THIRTY-SEVEN, - in the SECOND, - to finish with MATCH figures of NINETEEN wickets, for just NINETY runs, conceded, over the course of BOTH innings!
THAT is a feat, which will NEVER be EQUALLED, - let alone BEATEN, - by ANY bowler, alive, today!

spinners are bowlers though.record shows that fast bowlers get more wicket.the reason is that they open the bowling and do tend getting early wickets.spinners do get wickets less as compared to fast bowlers.except warne and murli who has shared more than 1400 test wickets between them.see how many fast bowlers have taken more than 300 test wickets as regard to spinners.

Like many people have said, your question is slightly wrong in its phrasing. Anyway, there's all that stuff about weather conditions, and yes, it does hold true. However, you must remember that a spin bowler can play for a lot longer than a pace bowler. A pacer is running in every ball and exerting pressure on his bones and tendons. Injury could get them but also general tiredness from the game of cricket. It is truly a knackering experience for them. Spin bowlers only have to bowl from a few steps and so don't have to exert themselves so much. Look hhow many spinners play past the age of 32 and see how many pacemen play past the age of 32.

Depends on which country and type of wicket they are playing on
Also in first innings it would normally be the seamier doing the damage , And in the 2nd innings where the pitch might be wearing a bit , that would be when spinners will bowl longer spells and take more wickets

It depends upon the type and nature of the pitches, as some pitches will be helpful for spinners and some for Fast Bowlers..
