I have two pages in the end of my passport, labelled "Amendments and Endorsements" and want to know if these are acceptable as pages in which a student visa can be stamped.

No visas should not be stamped there. You can have pages added. You will probably have some problems travelling on a passport without adequate space for visa stamps, etc. http://travel.state.gov/passport/fri/faq/faq_1741.html#blankvisapages Check with the local US Embassy to have the pages added or contact the US Passport office here in the US.

Why do you want to know? If you're running out of pages, then have extra pages put in. It's free of charge, and only takes 10 minutes. I've had that done twice by the "embassy" in Taiwan. If you do have space, let the immigration wherever worry about that.

Why do you worry about that?

An Embassy is knowing what they are doing. It's not you who did it.

enjoy life.
