It is a natural feeling of disappointment because if an individual fails to do something, it is the first anf foremost reaction of all. You will feel sad and a bit disapppointed because you exerted effort, time, energy in doing a particular goal. You think that you are not good enought to accomplish your goal, but it's not a healthy thinking. Even you failed, you must strive harder and take your mistakes as a lesson or don't be afraid to commit a mistake because it's a part of growing. Failnig is not the end of the journey, it's the start of doing it more effortful and with those mistakes, you can have guidelines in pursuit of excellence.

When I fail to do something I'm sad because I constantly keep thinking there was something I missed that I shouldn't have. I am sometimes also sad when I fail because I let someone else down who was depending on me to succeed.

Life is for progress and for progress success is needed. And if success is not experienced they feel bad.

The philosophy of success is very deep and is real. Each one of us is trying to succeed but the strength of the thought and efforts are making the difference.

At failure, instead of feeling sad, if one can learn the lessons from the failures and do the needed efforts to not repeat the mistake then I think even failures will become a stepping stone.

And then people cannot feel sad on their failure
