It depends on the situation. if you are dressed up in that costume but the environment is peaceful, nothing will happen to you.. but if there's some problems, there's a possibility that you'll get arrested.. not unless you really are a desperate gangster trying to hide on Halloween to avoid being caught..

I don't think so...But there's always a possibility of that. You know, just make sure it looks like you're just having fun..Don't want people to mistake you for a poser yea?
If you're a girl, dressing like a male gangster really amuses people ;)

If you live in a big city where gangs are common. I would be more worried about what they would do to you if they caught you walking around pretending to be a gangster. The cops wont bother you unless your doing something illegal. Its not illegal to be a gangster. They just tend to do illegal things.

The cops will arrest you if you want them to... you can get jumped if you want to as well... I believe the question is, do you want to get arrested and jumped or just cuffed and jumped?

Depends where you live. Make your outfit exaggrated so that it becomes obvious that it is a costume.
If you live anywhere in south Los Angeles...I would choose something else!
