intel core 2 quad pro Q6600 overclocked?

coz i think Q6600 is safer to overclocked coz its a low power version and energy efficient

Q6600(save some money don't buy Extreme-ly overpriced intels ) if Core 2 didn't OC well enough to usually use a low end to outrun the highest end AMD then AMD X2 = Intel C2D in price to performance.
Although a Q6850 will OC slightly higher as their is no low power version when it comes to OCing as you need to adjust the vcore to get that high.

If you have enough money to blow on a Q6850 than its a good choice...but the Q6600 will require alot of cooling to reach the Q6850 lvl
but both do have energy efficient in the bios :)

quad core all the way... play with the voltage input should cpu run on the hot side...

You shouldn't be over clocking anything. It just isn't worth the problems that running a component out of spec might cause.
