I don't agree.
The deepest cut is not the FIRST but the LAST. Many still survived from the first cut, if it is the deepest I don't think they can make it till today.
The last cut, however, usually make someone totally dead.
*What I mean here is not physically but mentally and
emotionally. Do not take my opinion seriously because I never really in that stage before.

how did the children know this word

the word said out loud
without barriers
with pointed fingers
with proud laughter
how would you suffer, reader
They accused
I stand falsely accused
like Piggy in the Lord of the Flies
Now and forever the eternal outcast
Now and forever absolved from fitting in anywhere
With brute force I write these words

i'm tempted to agree just because it seems that way to most people, but the truth is that the cuts always hurt the same when you notice them for the first time!

The first cut won't hurt at all. The second will only make you wonder. The third will have you on your knees. You'll start bleeding & screaming....

Yes, but then you grow a thicker skin, and the slings and arrows effect you less and less.
