Bank of America?
Anyone close thier account to find the bank left one open and you were charged for this. I now know 2 people this happened to.

I appreciated all the responses to this question earlier.
I am posting again so if I can get enough responses, I would like to send them to some legal firms to try and get action against BOA.
I believe they purposely are leaving customers second accounts open, when they ask for thier account to be closed.

Bank of America has successfully gotten away with abusing their customers repeatedly and habitually. Obviously, like many corrupt businesses in this nation, they get away with it and know that they can. The best thing to do is never do business with them and encourage others not to. Second best might be to place telephone calls or go in person to attempt to work things out, acting as though it was an honest mistake that you want corrected.

That might work well because they probably get lots of complaints and hardly have time to make all complainers suffer. Also, being a big business, if they think you thought it was an honest mistake, they might not want to convince you that it wasn't and have their company trashed all over, like you and I are doing to them now. :))
