I'm only 19, but still I look back to the good old days when I was 13 and I didn't know about the world and I kind of lived in my own bubble not knowing how society can be . I had lots of fun back then, but I still can't help thinking there was so much more I could of done . High school was fun, I had a big social circle who I still keep in touch with, but I think I could of done more, got involved more . Does anyone feel like sometimes you wish you were younger because there was so much more hope for tommorow ?

yes i know exactly what you mean. im 21, and I just feel like time has just flown by so unbelievable fast. once i was a young boy running and playing in my fort that me and my friends made in the bushes, next thing you know i was this awkward teen that couldnt talk to girls anymore, now suddenly im this young man, 21, and looking back at it all, now there is all this pressure to find a girl, get married and have kids, but i feel like my life has just begun you know? i feel like all that time was just flying past and now i need to do something important, help society. i mean right now im typing on my computer, and hungry kids in africa are starving, anyone who reads this as well, should hang their heads in shame, because this computer is a sin. we have the luxury of a computer, to ask simple questions and answer simple questions about our own life. but in another part of the world, some 5 year old jusdt watched his mother slowly die over months and months from mal nutrition and lack of food. somewhere a 5 year old has aids and wont ever even make is this far in life, and probably doesnt want to because his life is not that good to start with. im going to actually sit here for several minutes now, shameful, and just sit here , like a moment of silence at the unjustice that just happend, i just answered a question, this money and time, (money for the computer) could have been used to save lives. How many billions of dollars went into the reashearch and making of our computers? why isnt there research being done to solve hunger? seems liek a waste of money, i hope that everyone who reads this takes at least 5 minutes of their time, and hangs their head, or prays or something when they read this, because plain and simple, if you didnt do this, you are nothing more than scum.
sorry to say it, but i feel like scum just for having this nice house, food, clothes and computer, i mean, i could have used less expensive clothes, i could live in a less nice house, and i could eat cheaper food. sad sad reality. very sad.

No, I'm 43 and looking back is a waste of time. No one can ever know what the future will bring so just keep a clear mind, level head and do the best you can for yourself and everyone around you. Sounds like your looking so hard that you can't see the good things that are right beside you, take some time to think about the days to come I'm sure a lot of new and good things are near.

Yes I did because I was too shy and my self-esteem level was extremely low.
However, since you are 19, you are still young - you have not wasted your youth because you are still in your youth. There's nothing wrong with having fun and enjoying yourself. If you want to get more involved with social issues, what's stopping you now? You can still do it. Go for it.

It's normal to feel that way. I just turned 27 and entered my "late twenties."
I'm happily married, life is good, but I still feel like I should have done more.

maybe a little bit. I wish I was more social. But its gone and its time I make sure the rest of my days are spent living life to the fullest. =)

I am 20, and YES. Wasting most of high school dealing with stupid relationships and dumb chics!! Esp. fighting with my parents!!! Should have neverrrrr~!!!
