My wife has already filed for divorce and signed it. But she refused to issue it and it's affecting both of us and our extended family members. How to I make her issue the letter and get it done once and for all. It was dragged for months.

Do you have any of the paperwork? Is there a docket number? Anything?

If she filed for divorce, she has already paid the fees... and there may be a time limit on that, then it becomes a fresh set of papers and fees... tell her that one and see if that gets her off dead-center.

If not, you may have to start it all over again. Just go on-line and download the forms from the state website and fill them out, and file them. If you have to, file "abandonment" just to get yourself free. If you check, at the bookstores there are guides for DIY divorces in your state. Really useful.

You really need to button this up for a number of reasons.
