Hi, I have a Calico fantail, a golden fantail,a black moor,a Ryukin and an oranda. just five fish, and a ten gallon tank for them. I would like to add more some day, but i'm not sure which other types of fish would be suitible tank mates for my fish, they all get along well, I just worry that if i get a new fish of a different kind that it will not be welcomed, please help me out!.

A 10 gallon is way too small for all those goldfish. They need at least a 50 gallon, though if they're small you can start with a 20 gallon. Trust me, the ammonia levels will rise FAST even if they're small and htey are going to get sick. You by no means have any room for another fish. And only goldfish can go with eachother anyway. Save your money for an appropriate tank. If you don't believe me, test the water. I had to put three goldfish in a 10 temporarily and I had to change the water every other day to keep the ammonia down. And these were small goldies.
(those beautiful fish you have get to be 8-10 inches, and will be glorious if you don't kill them off as babies. Let them grow to adults, you will be happy to show off their beauty, they can live 20 plus years and become gorgeous and will interact with you like puppies. The ones you have now are in terrible conditions in that tiny tank)

Keep in mind I say start with 20 so you won't just forget about our advice since chances are you won't want to get a 50 right away if they're still small. But they WILL need one in a year or two, and the 20 is VERY temporary, in fact a 28-30 would be better until they grow bigger. Getting big fish is an investment. If you want a bunch of small fish for a 10 gallon, I suggest ballon mollies, they are very cute.

None at the moment. Everyone else here is right; you need a much bigger tank for five fish. Goldfish need about ten gallons of water per fish. Once you've upgraded, I would suggest some Black Mollies.

First of all you will need at least a 50 gallon tank before thinking about getting any more fish, if the right habitat is provided they will grow to be huge and can live up to 15-25 years with proper care

If you don't upgrade your tank, you will stunt their growth, and with that shorten their live dramatically, they will die a cruel death, they stop growing on the outside, but their organs won't stop growing and will kill your fish from the inside out

Once you have upgraded you can consider putting 4-8 white clould minnows in there

As well as live plants like hornwort, anacris and cabomba

Hope that helps
Good luck
