With Solskjaer retiring from football,we have only 1 targetman left viz Saha.Rooney and Tevez usually don't do well playing alone upfront.So,do you think we should get another striker before the transfer window closes or will these guys be enough to do the job?

the transfer window closes really, really soon, and i don't think man utd will be able to buy any strikers unless their club wants them the hell outta there, and they wanna leave.
ferguson has faith in his strikers and midfielders. you do notice that midfielders do a lotta scoring for united, don't you?
i think man utd will survive. maybe they should buy a striker next season or something. for now, it looks pretty good. :D

man utd is really in a pickle this season but they should wait out their bad luck rather than buying a new striker. the problem for man utd is they have very little team chemistry. with Rooney and ronaldo out, and tevez, Nani, Anderson and Hargreaves in... the team needs more time to bond and learn the playing styles of each other. instead of buying a new striker, they should concentrate on playing better together.

YNWA- yeh, ok then, you have great way of convincing yourself that your right. Always works. Oh yeh, Liverpool have such a great strike force!
As for United, well i think its better than people think. We have never totally relied on the front row, even in the 90s. Fergie has always promoted the scoring of goals from all players. So, unlike Chelsea we tend to not rely on our "strikeforce". Having said that, i wouldn't mind seeing either Defoe or Anelka at Utd, they're proven goal scorers, despite the previous allegiences!

As others have said, I doubt SAF will be able to get another striker in time since there are only a few days left.
I think SAF misses Alan Smith right about now....

even though these guys are doing a great job they would need another striker by their side such as berbatov or anelka
and another thing... to sir normg (or whatever): Would you shut up and mind your own team's bussines?! No one cares that you think we are cheaters...you said it like a thousand times...you're being jealous on ronaldo's skills..that's sooo obvious...don't you have your own team to look after?!..leave us alone!!

I don't think we need panic too much. We have players who can score, create and control matches. We just need to give them time to settle and find each other. UTD play their best when they seem to instinctively know where their teammates are.
Having the new players thrown in so early, doesn't help.

whats the point in signing another stricker saha is close to being fit rooney wont be far behind and the manager has other options with scholes and ronaldo so in answer to your question no we dont need another stricker.

Man U needs strike force to be on top...They need a good CAM than a striker ....like kaka,Ronaldinho,Diego...
