how do i create a web site by myself for an on line biz?

its a simple site where cutomers can look at pictures n place orders for delivery.

Either use a template based system or learn how to code using PHP and my SQL. what sort of biz are you looking at? If you are not computer minded, get a web developer to write it for you as it will be more professional looking and will generate better business.....hint: tell us what you want...ie online shop, product info etc etc

I have some suggestions for you.

1. Find someone who has created a good online photo business and see how they did it. Hopefully, you know someone which you wouldn't be considered a competitor. For example, you specialize in landscapes and maybe they do portraits. I have heard there are photo sites out there that allow you to sell photos.

2. Get an idea of who is your market. Who are your competitors and what would prospective buyers type into a search engine to find your product?

I know you may not want to hear some of this stuff especially if you want to move fast. Too often people rush to set up a site and for various reasons have a hard time getting traffic and sales conversions. Sometimes it's because people did not set the site up correctly. And sometimes it's because people use the wrong copy to pull in buyers.

Aaron has a great ebook on SEO. It mentions a lot of practical stuff on setting up a site such as getting the right domain name, hosting, content management systems etc. The book is about $70 but I think well worth it. I wish I had read it before setting up my site.

If you are good at HTML or designing and ready to make website then good. Otherwise you can use software to make for your. You can also use ready made website templates.

But for business on website you must use paypal the best source for payment. You can open account for free and even you can use their shopping cart. You better check paypal for further information. You should also have an option for credit card which again paypal can help. Otherwise there are several ways.

You are advised first surf on Internet and see website which are doing business by that you can get ideas.
