Who is your hero and why?

Mine's John Lennon, because he made amazing music and was a huge inspiration/motivation for the peace movement etc. And he was in general a creative genious.

mine is either saladin, or my dad, because saladin was a fair, compassionate ruler that won his battles decisively but without encroaching on anyone's rights and my dad does a lot for us, so i respect him for it.

Wes. He's been through a lot of stuff and through it all he still had time for me. He always know what to say. He never once put me down. He has a huge heart. He loves everyone. He's serving a full time LDS mission. He makes me want to be a better person. He makes me want to live each day to the fullest. Hes knows everything about me and never once though twice about not being my friend. He doesn't let your bad decision define who you are he lets you define who you are.over all hes one of the most amazing people I have ever meet.

I'm my own hero, don't mean to sound big headed her by that but i've taken a lot of pressure, and i'm only 15 and feel like i've gone crazy haha lol. People are all the same really.

In conclusion .. I would not know WHAT to look for in a person to call 'em a hero so that's why I can't really choose anyone... I mean you get normal people who guard children, you get war heroes who saved our butts but where they fighting for the right sides? See what I mean? It's some tough choosing lol.

My Mom was a stay at home Mom whose husband walked out on her and 5 kids. She went to college while still taking care of all of us got her Bachelor of Science in nursing and did this within 5 years of my Dad divorcing her.
How she managed to do this and still cart us around in an old car and get us involved in sports, etc. is amazing to me.
If I could accomplish what she did proportionately I'd be the President or something. I sat around and whined after I learned I was getting divorced, she just went to it and accomplished things. Wow!

Mine is my mother because she raised us 4 kids by herself and did a great job. She worked so hard and so far put 3 of us through college. She did an awesome job, and if i can be half the person she is, then I will be just fine.

i honestly dont wanna make this all sappy and cheesy lol but its my older brother. he has messed up several times in his life but i always watch him try to make it better, and he has teased me and hurt my feelings and has been mean to his gf's but hes really cool in the end and i love him. although hes 7 years older than me. hes made mistakes and i kno i can look up to him when i do that same retarded thing lol plus i can tell my secrets to him, like when i burnt my carpet from a candle and put a dent in the wall from trying karate and stuf like that and hes never told on me...so ya. and he has like helped me when im about to fall out my window (lol dont ask) and when i was suposed to be in this fight at my school and he went and beat that boy like a red headed step child lol but hes cool, and hes just a good role model and he does a lot of stuff for me which should be my crap but he does it for me anyway.... : )
