I was reading news today online, and my toddler started to point at a picture of Alberto Gonzales and Karl Rove. I had him reciting "liar" when he pointed at Alberto and "a$$hole" when he pointed at Karl Rove. Over and over again and he couldn't stop giggling. Me neither.

Those of you who don't like the language...

Would it be better if he would have been saying prevaricator and anus?

More technical terms, but not nearly so accurate, somehow.

If I told you that you were a bad parent, I would be a hypocrite because when my son was a toddler, I not only taught him bad words, but I used to tape all of his little fingers down (except for the middle one), and told him to go into the kitchen and tell auntie carol that mom sent her a present.

He is a soldier now, serving in the middle east, and did not even remember what I taught him to do when he was a toddler. When I told him about it, he laughed really hard.

I feel there may be plenty extra to it than what the dad and mom do. As a guardian you take a look at all you'll be able to to educate your children the proper manner however simply for the reason that we are dad and mom does not imply we all know precisely what is the proper technique to educate the youngsters. Some that look to be quality dad and mom perhaps just a little overdoing it and it has a bad final result at the child. There's genetics too, that is being tested increasingly to impact the intellectual steadiness of someone, so it doesn't matter what you do they are going to nonetheless pass dangerous. The excellent we will be able to all do is take a look at. And for probably the most side I feel such a lot dad and mom wish to be well for his or her children, then there may be one's who simply do not care and can best hold their children for the reason that its required via regulation. But you can not expect the results.

You don't want to teach your kid that type of language; a--hole, anyway. 'Cause you never know; maybe your new next door neighbor will look like Alberto, and he'll call him the a-word. That wouldn't be too good, would it? Children have something the rest of us don't: innocence. Don't take that away from him.

No that's pretty damn funny.

Another word you might teach your son when pointing to Al Gonzales is "sellout".

Thousands of ignorant latinos are so proud of him being elected to such a high office simply because of his last name.

Little do they understand - he wouldn't want to have anything to do with any of them.

Consider that somewhere out there is a father teaching his toddler to do it the oposite way so it balances out for future debaters.

Funny...but don't you ever teach your little one such awful words.

If he thinks you find it funny, it won't be so funny if he points to you & repeats those very words, the next time you invite someone over for dinner!

If it is again and again, I am not surprised if the toddler uses the words to somebody else one day. Maybe to you or to yr parent's in law or to its teacher .

Poor kids.
They were born so pure and so nice, they become whatever their parents lead them.

There's nothing wrong with it if you made him giggle. A child's giggle is priceless.
