There is actually quite a bit. Depends on your individual tastes. Sometimes a band will cut a song or two on each album that is just instrumental. It was more popular in the 80's, but you can still find some out there. I would recommend going to a music store, find a tattooed guy with earlobe extenders that has nothing else to do but memorize facts about music and ask them what they think. They should be able to point you in the right direction. Or you could just google instrumental rock.

you may like instrumental rock like joe satraini, and yngiwie malamstine. (I think that's how you spell those) all their songs are mainly very fast and have no singing. They are more 80's metal than, 90's alt. rock (beware).
