my boyfriend has only ejaculated about 6 times his entire life. he is 20. he only lasts about 1 minute, will he be able to last longer if he ejaculates more frequently? we haven't had sex yet, but just making out sets him off and it doesn't take a lot.

This is an extremely normal thing, especially for guys who haven't had sex a lot. Especially young guys, because their testosterone levels are really high. Sometimes it takes care of itself. But if not, there are things you two can do about it together (and they don't necessarily involve intercourse). The important thing is, there's nothing wrong with him. And he definitely shouldn't spend money on any treatments, because the vitamins and pills are all scams.
There is something called the pause techenique or the squeeze technique that has been proven to work, but it takes time. Here are some web sites where you can read about it. You'll notice that they are from the Mayo Clinic and Columbia University, where the therapies have been scientifically investigated.

What your looking for is an answer right know, not later in life. As men there is social pressure for us to perform at a high level no matter what the situation. Tell him Practice on his own to learn control, you can help him with this. Your presence will make him feel more at ease when he is with you. And if that doesn’t work tell him to get rid of the first one before he sets foot in the door, their is no shame when it comes to satisfying your girl.

The more "practice" he receives, the better his control will be. As he gets older and more sexually experienced he should be able to control himself better especially when aroused.
I personally think it's amazing, if not a lie, that he's only ejaculated 6 times in his life.
He should practice on his own to build experience.

His glans will become less sensitive as he ages. Frankly, if I were 20 and had only ever ejaculated 6 times, I think I would prolly orgasm every time if you said hello.

he just might be over excited or premature ejaculation is like the most common male sex defect/ issue whatever u wanna call it. see if he can play a second time he should last alot longer. but i dont know if he will get better on his own... but then again they make drugs for everything it wouldnt suprise me if they had one for this

um... he has ejaculated more than 6 times. He probably averages 365 ejaculations (at least) per year.
