Today my girls friend Cori was over and my older daughter Cassie wanted to tell my younger daughter Kari a secret in private but Cori would'nt leave them alone cause she thought the secret might be about her, I told Cori to let Cassie tell Kari the secret alone and she said "if it is about me I have a right to hear it" I feel if Cassie wanted to tell Kari a secret in private it is none of Cori's business what it is even if it is about her, what is your opinion?

do you want to be right or do you want to be effective?

i guess cori has a right to be suspicious and nosy because no one wants secrets about them passed behind their backs. if the secret really wasn't about cori, then cassie and kari should make that clear, as well as tell cori that it really is none of her business to demand to hear a secret between two people. no one's in the definite wrong or right - it's not that black and white.

you should just let them be. even if they come to you to tattle. tell them to figure it out on there own. they need to learn to get along. if you are always there to referee they will never learn.:)
