Im j/w.

Worry more if your laptop overheats on your lap. You could be covering the air intake vents at the bottom with your clothing.

Nobody to answer thus far seems to understand the concept of "lowered sperm count." It doesn't refer to the count from one day to the next, but rather the overall output over time. As a society, Americans count has decrease by over 50% over the past 70 years. (Maybe less time than that, I'm recalling a recent Time article from memory.) But to answer your question, I would say "be wary." The testes require a very regulated temperature (notice their reaction to a cold pool, for example) and studies have indicated that there is a direct correlation between extended laptop use and lowered sperm count. Continued exposure to increased temperatures will likely have negative effects in the future, even if you are a child. But I would think that moderate use would probably be fine.

What I assume its referring to is the killing of sperm due to the extra heat put on the little guys by the laptop's heat. Sperm can only live within a small scale of temperatures. Your body will regenerate the sperm and there should be no long term damage.

of course not. a lot of sperm is created per day so if the sperm does get lowered it will be restored by tomorrow.

If you are on the computer ... your sperm count is the least of your problems. Your not use them anyways.

Laptops have nothing to do with that. Men have been using them for years, and women are still having babies.
