Is it worth the time and money?

According to the rankings done by US News for their 2008 report, Vanderbilt is the 19th best overall institution for undergraduate education in the United States.
While I do not attend Vanderbilt myself, I have had several friends from high school who have gone there, as well as a cousin of mine who attended their law school, and all say that they enjoyed or are enjoying their time there. In terms of my cousin, she also said that when she mentioned having attended Vanderbilt during interviews it seemed to get a positive response.

Yes, it is one of the best schools in the South, along with Rice and Duke.
