All of the members except Mullin and Laettner were included in the 50 greatest player. Jordan and Magic Powered that team with sheer quickness and tenacity. Most of the team members were at their peak or playing at their best basketball. Since most members are Hall-of-Famers their team was dubbed the dream team and that was the real reason for being called such.
