In answer to your direct question...unplug them.

Added information (free of charge) is that you do not want to disable them in ANY fashion. Tehy are there for a reason, and when working properly, will not cause any problems with the electrical system. If you are experiencing electrical issues then fix the problem.
MOST states and/or metro areas have statues regarding the altering of safety equipment.
If you disable them and then have an accident, if the investigation reveals that the DRL's were non-functioning then it would go a lot worse for you.
They are there for others to see you and hence be able to avoid you.

The simplest way to disable the DRL is to remove the fuse for it. Just make sure the fuse does not supply anything else in the car. The other way is to remove DRL relay. Good luck.

do not dis connect them will disable all headlights click emegeny brakre one click this will shut off drl anywas why disable them safty feature saving on bulbs is it worth a persons life i dont think so.
