how much ammunition does a battelship carry for it's main and secondary guns?

i was wonder how much ammunition a battleship could carry for it's main guns and secondary guns saying that the main guns are 14, 15, 16, or 18 inch guns ?

Don't know for sure. But, back in the late 1950s when the USS Wisconsin was being decommissioned, they disposed of most of their 16" rounds by a live fire exercise in the Wallops Island Range. Over 50 rounds per barrel were fired out of the three triple mounts.
