Yes, liberals are hypocrites. Everything they do and say is hypocritical to something they said yesterday, and will say tomorrow. No news here.
Having sex with an underage page (Gerry studds) if you are a democrat, is defendable and o.k. Someone accusing you of "making gestures consistent with someone "wishing to engage in lewd contact."", is not ok.

I consider myself an independent, not a conservative OR a liberal. But I would have little compassion or tolerance for any politician who espouses 'family values' and then is discovered to be a homosexual, pedophile, or any other kind of pervert. I don't care what his political affiliation is, Republican or Democrat. Frankly, I don't even care about his sexual persuasion; what irks me is the hypocrisy of it all. Why don't politicians simply come out and admit they're gay? Why don't they confess that they are pedophiles? Or alcoholics, or drug addicts, or prescription drug abusers, or wife batterers, or adulterers, or atheists, or cross dressers? At least voters would have to give these cretins credit for being honest - which is more than I can say about most of our 'honorable' members of Congress!

Only a person can have morals and ethics, not a political party. But when you liberals constantly preach tolerance, then turn on somone over an accusation of doing something you ask the rest of us to tolerate, it does make you look hypocritical. I myself say, that if Craig did do what he is accused of doing, he should be gone, regardless of party. But thats the differance between me and the liberals. The liberal would want him re-elected.....

I guess I'll take a wide stance on this one. Certainly we have compassion for Larry Craig. This is really a rough time for him and his family to be sure.
But the reality is that Larry Craig fits a familiar pattern...you know the outwardly self-professed moral conservative, who in truth sits in a public restroom gawking at the dude next door.
Why is it always that way...???
Yeah...all human beings are hypocrites...in the end that is the one truth. We are all of us flawed and imperfect.

George Bush called himself the man of compassion and the Republican party as party of big tent, but it one ring circus, you must be pro life, pro gun and anti gay. Senator Carig uses his power in the senate to speak out against immoral behavior but does not practice what he preaches.

"Well, Larry isn't a true gay because he is a Republican." See Dems say they love gays, but when it's a Republican they hammer him or her flat. Hypocritical might be to light a word to use here.

He's a criminal who engaged in lewd conduct in a very public place. I have no tolerance for that.
He's a Senator for crying out loud. I'm sure he could afford a motel room.

anyone ever notice how Neocons always claim allegations to be "almost laughable" right before concrete evidence proves their guilt?
