I'm guessing Luke. He's the ultimate unlikely hereo, short, thin and whiney, but as time goes on, he becomes more and more what people see as a hero.

I prefer Revan and the Exile from the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic & KOTOR II The Sith Lords video game series.

Both characters make Vader and Palpatine look like wusses.

Edit: And in response to Jedi Dude; Revan and the Exile are BOTH considered cannon by the Lucas people.

So your response that characters in video games have little or no meaning at all to the story shows just how ignorant you really are.

Don't believe me... Look it up. Wikipedia has some articles on most of the characters for KOTOR and Sith Lords.

And the new game Force Unleashed which has to do with Vader's apprentice is also considered cannon even though according to the movies Vader didn't have an apprentice.

Do some research before you make a complete azz out of yourself.

For me it's Luke ... the guy does anything for anybody with no regard for his own well being.

BTW: characters from the video games are bad choices as most of them exist only in the game and have little or no meaning in the story overall. The only one I can think of is Revan ... one of the first Sith to actually return to the light side of the Force.

I love Yoda, so I guess he's my favorite! :)

I love Yoda because he's so cute, and yet so wise... he is! :D

I love Yoda the most in Attack of the Clones, where he pulls out his light saber and fights Count Douku! Plus I love the origonal trilogy, and the scene where Yoda passes on in Return of the Jedi is so touching! :)

Plus when I was born, I used to be called Yoda, for the way my mom held my head in her hands; with her thumb and pink fingers sticking out from the side of my head! I was cute back then! :D

Han Solo has always been my favorite. He's just in it for the money and all this other crap keeps happening to him.

Story of my life, but without the money -- just the crap.
