I am a Yankee fan because I live in NY and Don Mattingly is my favorite player all time. I am also a fan of the Yankee history as well, as the pinstripes, Yankee Stadium, and the interlocking NY. NL team is tough. I like a few teams in the NL, such as the Cubs, Astros, Cardinals, Rockies, Phillies, and Braves. My top two is probably the Cubs and Astros, in the NL. I would say that because the Cubs haven't won since 1908, and If the Yankees were to lose, I would want the Cubs to win. I like the Astros because some of my favorite players were Astros such as Roger Clemens, Andy Pettitte, Randy Johnson, Nolan Ryan, Mike Scott, Jeff Bagwell, Craig Biggio, Roy Oswalt, and Jose Cruz. I would also like to congratulate Bagwell for having his #5 retired by the Astros. For the other teams in the NL, is because I am a fan of some of their players as well. I also think they have nice uniforms. Dale Murphy, Hank Aaron, Larry Walker, Todd Helton, Ozzie Smith, Stan Musial, Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton, Ernie Banks, Ron Santo, Ryne Sandberg, Phil Niekro, Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine, and John Smoltz are some of my favorite players from the teams that I have mentioned in the NL.

I am from Milwaukee. I will always be a Brewers fan no matter how badly we suck. Growing up with the Brewers was something fun for me. No we never won anything of importance but I got to see some of the most exciting players in baseball history. from Don Money, Robin Yount, Paul Molitor, Jim Slaton, Pete Vukovich, Rollie Fingers, Dave May, Darrel Porter, Sixto Lezcano.. There was just something special about baseball at the old Milwaukee County Stadium.. HEY we also have Bob Uecker as our radio announcer. What more can you ask for. At least when we lose we get to hear Uecker.

My American league team is the Blue Jays. I loved watching Dave Steib, Jimmy Key, Tom Henke.. Those were the good ol days.

American League - Detroit Tigers

National League - Chicago Cubs

I would like to add that I do see the Detroit Tigers and the Chicago Cubs playing in the 2007 World Series and I see the Cubs winning the World Series.

I'm old. I grew up in California and had to choose a team from the East. I have no idea why I chose the Brooklyn Dodgers, but I will always be a Dodger fan. In the AL, Oakland.

Picking a team to cheer for when they played in those two World Series was a good problem. Dodgers!

The Texas Rangers because they refuse to get good pitching and win because hitting 260 home runs a season is a lot more fun.
