sure but you will get a bad finish.if you have to paint use a roller still bad but not as bad.

Yeah, but you will get a bad paint finish. Same as using a 4" brush.

Thin the paint, make the spray as fine as possible, filter filter filter, and wet-sand between coats. It won't be as nice as if you'd used an auto spray setup, but it'll work.

No, the compressor is not the same. The paint would not come fine enough.
