The pill is offering zero protection at this point. It is unlikely that you will get pregnant if you are on your period, but not impossible.

Cross your fingers, and be more carefully until you have taken your pills long enough to be protected.

You HAVE your period. Anywho, you most likely weren't ovulating. However, there is always a chance of getting pregnant. Also, most oral contraceptives say to use protection for the first 7-30 days(depending on the pill), I always used it the first month to be safe. Good luck.

ANYTIME you have sex you risk the chance of becoming pregnant, whether you are on your period or not, whether you use condoms or not, whether you are on other contraceptives or not.

There is no 100% effective form of birth control except for abstinence.

It's a possibility - why don't you just wait until you are fully covered as you're already making the commitment to taking the pill.
