I'm an American, but I'm gonna have to go with the British on this one. Relatively small in size and population, the Brits have still managed to change the genre we invented in ways that changed ours forever. The Beatles made it mainstream. The Stones were the original bad boys. Judas Priest established the black leather and chains look of heavy metal. Two British bands, The Sex Pistols and The Clash, took the mostly unknown punk rock sound invented by The Ramones, and made it a commercial success. I tip my hat to them. Rock on, Brits, rock on!

From the comments i've got considered on YA and this question I heavily doubt the "genuine brits" even understand the yank human beings. Your information media has a bias slant that's anti-American and a brilliant form of of you gleefully use that when coming up with questions. And if it have been as much as me i'd gladly evaluate ending the partnership.

Rock is rock. Therefore, rock by the brits and americans can both be great. Just as long as they're real rock bands, and not fakies like FOB.
