"Dwarf Planet "? What a whimpy classification.
It is not a planet. Our moon is larger. So is a handful of Jupiter and Saturn's moons. Pluto should be a "Kuiper Belt Object" along with other Kuiper belt asteroids.

Due to the discovery of 2003 UB313, or Xena, which is bigger than Pluto. Xena was named a planet, shortly after, Pluto and Xena both were re-classified as Dwarf Planets in 2006.

If it was a planet first, now identified as a dwarf planet, then wouldn't it still be a planet but still smaller than the other planets...which it was smaller to begin with???

officially its not classified as a planet, it is now classified as a "dwarf planet" because it is surrounded by material from the asteroid belt.
