ok, i first started my perid in march and i have been getting at the end of every month except july. well now its the end of august and i just now started it. and my friend's pool party is friday!? i hvent used a tampon yet, because i everytime i tried it wouldnt go in. what is the size of the smallest possible tampon?

The smallest tampons are labeled "juniors". You should definitely be using the smallest size for your first time. But perhaps more than that, you need help learning how to insert it. You should talk to your mom. She gave birth to you. She changed your diapers for years. She's seen it all, so don't be embarrassed.

I would have a talk with your mom, she will help guide you. Use a Jr. Tampon, this is the smallest possible size.

Get the junior size, and one's with plastic applicators are the easiest at first. Playtex Gentle glide works for me.. i think they have a junior size??
