Yes, of course. Being in our senior years, it is a significant question with no definite answer. But based on the history of longevity or lack of it in our forebears, we hazard a guess.

We had made tentative plans for funerals but never really considered who might die first. This led to some terrible consequences.

Nope. Then he might say me, and I would have to sleep with one eye open. He made it very clear when I asked him what if I die first that he would just replace me. That was nice, huh?

yes, because the guy I care about is older than me..so it's just likely he'd die before me..but I try not to think about it, so I just enjoy whatever time we have together

No. We just assume it will be him, since he is the one with high blood pressure and heart disease. If I die first, it will be as a result of an accident.
