*SokC, c'mon is that the best you got? You guys really don't have any heart if that is the best insult you could fling( and don't bore me with the "its not an insult, its a fact" line) you only have your success cause ya bought it. and break the recruiting rules....and recruit some pretty decent players too, I suppose ( Palmer did, unfortunately, play for USC)

But Hey! are we having fun yet? I am!

Although "hate" probably is the wrong word, I believe that there are two types of people tend to hate USC. First, there are those who hate USC (or any other successful college football program) because of its recent success. Over the past 5 year USC has had an incredible winning record (59-6), has won one BCS national championship and two AP national championship, and has usually dominated many of its opponents, especially those from the SEC, Notre Dame and Michigan. In addition, USC has continued to do very well in recruiting top high school football players. So jealously is ultimately the first reason. The second reason applies primarily to students and fans of USC's chief conference rivals, especially cross-town rival UCLA. If you want a third reason, it is because some of USC's more juvenile fans go onto web message boards and brag about the football program, while at the same time denegrating many of USC's key rivals and other successful programs.

I'm not exactly a USC hater, but it is fun to root against them. The media was ready to crown USC the greatest dynasty in the history of college football before they lost to Texas. Last Season before they played UCLA the voters had USC in the championship game. They had a shared title with LSU and I believe LSU would have won if they played. USC was given the title over Auburn and I believe Auburn would have won had they played. USC has been given the titles without having to earn them. It's nothing personal against USC It's just that they are the most over hyped, over rated team in the history of college football.

I don't hate USC. I never buy into hating the dominant team. You have to have those. Thats what I hate about the NFL nowadays. Every team can look average on any day. Bad teams turn good over night. In the 80's if you beat the Niners, you did something. Same with the Cowboys in the 90's. Right now, in college, if you beat USC, you know you've done something. Hell, my Wolverines don't even belong in the same stadium with those guys. Its a waste of time for USC to play Michigan at this point. They get more competition just running another practice/

I can see the only way to beat USC is getting all the USC haters together and have a hate festival against USC lol. But you say you don't really care, it's seem to me you do, because USC irritated you to no end because they're winning all the time right. So this season, you better get all the USC haters together and doing alot of hatting because USC gonna do alot of winning. Fight On! Fight On to Victory!
EDIT- I should have known your a Notre Dame Fighting Irish fan, i don't have any hate toward a school like you, i give them prop if they beat my school, no hatting from me period. But it's seem you Irish fans these day can only hate USC, because your team are pathetic, and even you try to hire the fat Charlie Brown Weis won't help your team to beat USC lol. But good luck with your Irish this year because they gonna need it, the Irish will have a losing record this year and USC will make sure to help that cause whipping the Irish by 35 point in ND. Fight On!

I don't like USC, but I don't hate them, speaking from a neutral side they are good, but not as a "team-good", they just have way too many talents on the roster, and most of the time that can win games, but there will be time, when that proves to be their weakness as well (Just like the time they lost to Texas)....I'm a Huskers fan and I can't wait for the match up in Lincoln this year, USC will be heavily favorite but I can see an upset waiting to happen

Hating USC is built into our family's DNA...my daddy used to say he didn't care who was playing as long as USC got beat. He went to Cal Berkeley, my brothers went to UCLA and I went to UC Santa Barbara... just the sight of a USC uniform was enuf to make us gag. I won't even watch them to this day. Further proof needed? John Wayne AND O.J. Simpson went there. I rest my case.

Success breeds contempt, and they've been the dominant program in the country for at least the past 5 years.

i hate them. no matter what players they return or lose they are always #1 in preseason polls and predicted to win the national title every year regardless of what happens to them. they have won 1 and tie with lsu for national title in the last 28 years. domination...

I hate them because they think they share the 2003 national championship with LSU. I hate their fans more.
