I have a 24 x 24 hunting cabin that needs wired. I bought all the supplies for the cabin(wire, boxes, switches, meter boxes, breakers, etc). He will be putting in 23 recept, 5 lights, 4 ceiling fans, vanity light, bathroom vent/light, and one outside light on the house. He will also wire an instant hot water tank and a stove. How much approx. should he be charging for the labor alone on this job

The cabin is unfinished and needs the panel hooked up with a mast run outside for the electric company.

It's hard to say. Some electricians charge by the hr. Some by the sq. ft. Some by the drop. I would say you'll be charged at least $45/hr.

Around $1000 for a real electrician. Less for joe handyman who will do it wrong. Don't forget the permit and inspections.
