these are the kind of American politicians (and how many of them?) who teach the world about freedom?

when one understands the behavior of these politicians, the sex scandals of abu ghraib and elsewhere come to no surprise at all.

The U.S. allows for people who make mistakes a chance for restitution and reform. It does not protect a U.S. Senator from being pressured out of office for bad conduct.
It was a mistake by an individual not a collective mistake.
Bringing up your anti-war feelings only shows that you can not differentiate between things you do not approve of.
