The moon don,t have light of it's own. It reflects the light of sun and lunar eclipse occur when earth comes in between the moon and sun .Unlike solar eclipse we can see lunar eclipse in naked eye with out any problem.

Lunar eclipses are perfectly safe. After all, you look at the full moon without eye safety devices. Why should an eclipsed moon be any worse?

Without doubt YES !! The moon is only reflecting the suns light whereas a solar eclipse is the direct light which can damage or burn your retinas. Happy moon gazing............
