It is the eternal question of the victim and the perpetrator of trickery and deceit.

The victim has a suspicion that it is all hoopla, smokes and mirrors, and he is paying through the nose for it. The trickster attempts to plug all the holes that his trick will get discovered.

The answer is of course no.
But then again there was no need for magic in the first place.

can I see this question as a away of saying that if scenice went and showed how everything exsists in a very simple boring sceintific way would the world seem magical any more?
