well im gettin glasses!! lol soo what kind of frames would be IN now a days...(any pics will do lol) ..or if i get contacts i got an olive color complextion...so like what color shud i get in contacts( thinkin bot light brown)

Actually - it seems any thing goes these days. Just get glasses that reflect your personal style - preppy or mod/edgy, etc. & suit your coloring. (i.e. Warm tones look best in gold, warm browns, more earth toned colors, etc. Cool tones look best w/ silver, cool greys, cobalt blues, etc.)
As for colored contacts - try them out before you commit. Sometimes they really look good, sometimes not. It seems to look more believable when people w/ light colored eyes try to make them more dramatic or darker. When people w/ dark eyes try to make them lighter, it sometimes looks fake.

The way I picked out my glasses was going to the eye-glasses strore (foreyes) and trying on a billion of them, asking my friend which ones looked good and judging them myself. I suggest you do the same, because rather than wearing the "in" style, which may not be a good match for your complexion, bone structure, etc., you can be beautiful AND unique!
Since your question is about what's "in" though... I would have to say the thick rimmed ones, which I think was just mentioned. With contacts, light brown would be awesome.

It all depends on your face shape really and what goes with it. At first i had oval glasses and now I'll need to get black/dark blue thickish rectangle glasses.
As my face shape has grown, (16 now...was 11 when i had the others).
It is in. It is fashionable. Even Vogue (a high fashion magazine) had an article about them. Lol, now i don't feel embarrassed by wearing them. :]
Personally i don't like contacts, but that's because they scratched my eye.

Keep your natural eye color, and for the glasses go with the "emo" glasses if you go to google images and type in "emo glasses" then you'll see the kind that I'm thinking bout

The emo glasses (thick rims) are in, although, I'm getting tired of them. Try Wayfarers. If you're daring, grandpa glasses are coming back in too.
