The fabric on the Swaddlers is so much softer than on the other diapers I've tried, except the Huggies equivalent. Has anyone used a generic store brand that is as soft? My daughters skin is irritated by the plastic of most brands. Thank you for your help!

If you cant find them, work pampers and target and sunday papers for coupons. And collect the pampers points. Mine are now in cruisers, but I usually save $1- $3 on an $8 pack. (putting the coupon on the smallest pack allowed, often turns out cheaper than buying them in bulk)

Sorry - there is nothing out there that is quite as perfect. I do like the HEB diapers, but I think HEB is a fairly local store. WalMarts Parent's Choice are soft, and the Sam's Club brand Member's Mark diapers are good, too. They don't have that stiff rubbery plastic, they are rather clothlike, just not as wonderful as the Swaddlers.

We tried Swaddlers but my son's butt didn't fit in them right. We used White Cloud from Wal Mart. They have a soft outside, no plastic, and work really well. They are significantly cheaper and run big so your baby stays in the smaller size longer which means you get more to the pack. Good luck!

The swaddlers is really the best one. I haven't found a generic that's as soft. I have found the generic ones to smell like chemicals and I can only imagine what that's doing to my baby's skin.

Luvs are very similar and much cheaper. My 11 month old daughter wears Luvs and we have only had 1 leak and we think it was because the diaper was on a little crooked.
