Dont download because it is illegal and you just got caught.I know your yahoo name. You will receive a letter for a court date soon. See you in court. Meaning he thought I illegally downloaded the game wich I did not. Also I am 13 so he is harming a minor please help me and clear this up! Can he figure out my info from my username? Do you really think I will recieve a letter in my mailbox for a court scentence? Can I just throw it away because I am a minor? I mean do you think he will find where I live ever? He probably lives in a random state and never find were I am. do you think he is just trying to scare me out of not doing anything illegal?

Yes he can. I had a friend that went to jail for a similar reason and also had a $5,000 fine. I would tell your parents immediately what happened so they can get a good lawyer.

Your parents will receive the letter for court and yes he can.You may need to seek an attorneys advice but only if you receive something in the mail.You need to show your parent the e-mail so they are a little prepared if they receive something in the mail.Make sure you print all the information you have from your question to his response for your lawyer.
Your information in not confidential if you violated the law it states that in Yahoos terms of services.
I hope for your sake its only a scare but it sounds like if its the real deal you have information to support what you were doing Keep any information such as receipts in regards to the game.

I download perks for my Sims 2 all the time, your not downloading the game, he's a moron pay no attention, he's trying to scare you. Report his info to EA Games and tell them he is trying to interrupt your download of Sims extras.

Yahoo does not release your info. You could sent Yahoo an e-mail and report him for threatening you. Make sure you include the address you got the e-mail from and maybe even copy and paste it.

I do think he is just trying to scare you, however it is possible for Yahoo. to link your name with your IP address, people think they can talk about anything online but you can be traced, it's expensive, and involves alot of legal maneuvering, but it can be done.
