Yahoo does not release your info. You could sent Yahoo an e-mail and report him for threatening you. Make sure you include the address you got the e-mail from and maybe even copy and paste it.

I do think he is just trying to scare you, however it is possible for Yahoo. to link your name with your IP address, people think they can talk about anything online but you can be traced, it's expensive, and involves alot of legal maneuvering, but it can be done.
