The check engine light comes on after running for 15 to 20 minutes and will not go off unless you shut engine off for more than a couple of hours. There is no noticeable affects of driving it for 30 minutes or so with it on.

My Service Engine Soon light recently came on in my 2002 Mustang and I took it to Auto Zone for a free diagnostic check. They told me what error showed and told me the meaning and part that I would need to fix it. Did I mention this was free?

When the engine check light comes on, your Honda goes into a bypass mode allowing you to drive home safely. I would follow the advice of Steven H. Do not wait too long as the problem could get worse, good luck

Take it to a auto parts store like AutoZone that provides a free diagnostic.

If you are mechanically inclined, you may be able to correct the problem yourself. If you are not, don't be ashamed to take your car to a reputable mechanic.

I don't care to list them all.

Check the basics first, oil, coolant, loose gas cap,air filer, vacuum leaks........
