There are usually 2 lunar eclipses a year, the next one is next February and it might be better positioned.
I think this one will be spectacular because most of the moon will enter Earth's umbra (the deepest part of Earth's shadow) so the moon will be very dark red and quite a sight.

YES IT IS SO WORTH IT! so far in my few years of being alive I have stayed up to see, a blue moon, a meteor shower, a cosmic planetary alignment, a red moon (from ash), I can name at least 37 constelations and point out about 12 of them, I hope to see haileys commet, and now I'll be able to say I've seen a lunar eclipse. as in where the earth blocks out the light of the sun so the moon turns red.

You could wait for another, but that could be 4-5 years in your area. But it is a spectacle worth at least a few minutes of viewing. The Bible says it best. I can't remember the exact verse, but the Bible says something like.....And I will show you great wonders in the heavens, the Moon shall turn to blood, and the Sun black, as sack cloth...........This is obviously a reference to lunar and solar eclipses, respectively. For God's sake you are asking us if you should get your *** out of bed? Seriously dude if you have to ask, then don't bother. What do we care if you watch it or not?
