is a pregnancy test a routine or mandatory test when a girl has abdominal pain or complains of pain in her stomach when or if she goes to the doctor? Or do you have to request that test?

If you are of child-bearing age it is standard.

It depends on what needs to be done. Sometimes they have to give a pregnancy test if another test they need to do could possibly be harmful to a baby if the woman was pregnant. In those cases they have to test even if you're positive you're not, just to be safe.

it depends upon the doctor. i went in because i had the flu on a over 100 degree day and was dehydrated they ask first day of last period i told them there was no way possible for me to be pregnant. when i got my bill they had a pregnancy test on it i was very mad. i was going through a divorce and had not been with anyone for 7 months and i even told them that.

mandatory over age 12 the reason being is because kids are having sex younger and younger and lying about it

Most likely the dr. will ask if it's possible that you're pregnant. If you answer yes, they do the test.
