Our kids here in Canada don't go back to school until next week, the day after Labor Day. It is always a relief to have them go back, no matter what age they are, or whenever it is.

The kids here don't go back until Sept 5th. Only some colleges here are in now.

honestly no i love children. mine our grown now less time for grandchild. im a young Nana. he calls me mom. school has to be!!! i promote education at any age. college. knowledge makes you smart. thank you. i realise some are glad as some families have many children and they need a break. if i ever needed one it was a reliable babysitter. or a night at their grandmother~s/papa~s or aunt & uncles.

Not really, my daughter is 15 and she's quite a joy to be around, but I know what you mean. If you would have ask when she was younger I would have say: heck yes!!! lol

My oldest starts 1st grade on Wednesday. I'm kind of bummed. They can drive me a little nuts at times...but I really enjoy having them around.

yes my grocery bill for the summer killed me-the only thing i dont like are the blinking school lights on my way to work i am going to be late almost everyday

No, I miss spending time with my son! I like the Mommy and me time during the day. We like to sleep in, go to the beach, play outside, color, and do fun things together.
