I think you should tell the truth, yes you'll get scolded but on the other side people will trust you for always telling the truth. Telling lies will get you no good... a good example is the story of "The Boy Who cried Wolf."

I know it is hard for all of us to be good reliable/honest people and best of all truthful even when you would rather tell a little white lie. But justice always prevails and if we aren't honest then it will come back on us. Good luck, I know I always needed it also.

just remember that telling lies never got you any where and if you do the crime you do the time... so use the scolding as a tool to remember to STOP DOING BAD THINGS =) and then you wont have to worry about ever getting in trouble! i always thought out my consequinces before acting out and you can even ask my brother, ive told him not to do something so that he wouldnt get in trouble... but you know he was my brother and he never listened to me... So take my advice kid, tell the truth and earn respect, it takes a life time to build trust and only seconds to lose it!!

depends on what you did but id tell and be scolded but forgave and have it off your chest cause then someone will find out and then youll be in even more trouble!!!!
