Definitely! Most of them are control freaks and that is why they use that tactic. It works against those that are not willing to stand up for themselves and has been a proven technique over the centuries.

I feel the same way as the others. Yes they know what they are doing because they see the reaction they get from whoever they are turning their abuse on. I think that they are stuck in such a low place themselves that they don't know how to change their behavior until they lose people around them. And some still don't see they have a problem.

i do not believe mental abusers are aware of what they are doing. they always think they are right, others opinions dont matter, and putting down others is just second nature. if they knew what they were doing, and the effect it had on people, they would not do it.

ABSOLUTELY! They are master manipulators and do whatever it takes to get their way, which usually means mentally "squishing" others!
