Creative types are blessed and cursed. I hope he gets the help he needs. He will have lots of fan support that's for sure.

I feel really bad for him. I have heard two stories about the
thing that made him attempt that. One is he's been upset
about his breakup with the Hudson girl, and I think it was one
of his brothers who said it was from overwork and stress?
He's always such a happy guy and seemingly non stop. He
must have really fallen for Kate, to try to slit his wrists. I read
he's got two movies due out and a third in the wings to make
next. So he's one of the hottest actors around. So it sure isn't
his career that's flagging.
Now I wish that the Hollywood press would leave him alone
and let him have the privacy to recooperate that he's asked
for. Maybe he can get away to a hideaway, if they don't. I
think I would be flying to some remote beach and just relax
awhile and find some sort of diversion to ease his pain.

Don't really know the details surrounding it other than it is always sad to hear someone is in such a state that they would choose to attempt suicide as an option. The news only stated that he had attempted it and of course made mention of his recent breakup. I guess my only thoughts are that I hope he is strong enough to accept the help he needs to deal with whatever it is that would cause him to make such an effort.

i really hope he will be okay.he is a talented handsome young man.i cannot imagine anything in his life could be so bad.i mean i wish i had his talents,abilities and connections and money! i have had terrible tragic losses in my life and i know suicide is a sin besides i love my family and children and friends and would never cause them this kind of pain.i do hope he gets the help he needs and my advice to any one is do not do drugs if you do get off them and no booze either this stuff kills and destroys lives!!! life is worth living.GOD bless.

well, it seems he hid his struggles and pain really well. i never heard even the smallest rumor about him on that level.
i think suicide and suicide attempts are no laughing matter and whatever his demons are, hopefully he will address them properly and he will have a strong support team to help him along the way.

Oh really?! I saw that he was in the hospital but I didn't read the article. That's really sad. I guess you never know how people are really feeling on the inside, because he always seemed really smiley.

Suicide is an odd action, generated by emotion. I cannot figure what may have driven him to attempt this

That's soo sad if it's true. Pressures of Hollywood must be harder than we thought. Although he could have done something accidentally and you know how rumors spread quick.

I just wonder (if it is true), why? I cannot comprehend anything so horrible as to take one's life. I sincerely hope it is not true, but if it is.... I pray for him to find the help he needs to become better. I think he is a smart and talented actor.
